It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Pickering (Newton, Kansas), born in Halstead, Kansas, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sharmen Carter and Delores Carter (Powell); her husband Harvey Pickering; her son R. Shane Parker; and her grandson Thomas Bayli Hershberger.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Hershberger (Rosemary), Patrick Miller (Alexis) and Kimberly Lovato (Michael); and her brothers, Sharmen (Beth), Jim (Kay) and Dennis Carter (Patti). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice or Catholic Charities Adult Day Program and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
