He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stewart and Ethel Stewart; his brother Charles S. Stewart; his niece Stephanie Stewart; and his nephew Ronald E. Eason.

He is survived by: his children, Joshua Stewart (Ashleigh) of Hutchinson, Donald Stewart of Wichita and Stephanie Meilleur of Michigan; his grandchildren, Brookelyn, Acelynn and Jaxsyn; his sister Cathy Eason (Ron); and the mother of his children Lori Sidebottom of Wichita.
