We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2023, at the age of 68, Glenda Carpenter of Newton, Kansas, born in Hutchinson, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carpenter and Glendora Carpenter; and her nephew Matthew Barden. She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter (Char) of Newton, Donald Carpenter of South Hutch, Loretta Carpenter of McPherson and Geraldine Barden (Steve) of Newton; and her nephews, Josh Barden (Becky) of Emporia, Joey Barden of Newton, Tony Carpenter and Josh Carpenter of Hutchinson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Flint Hills Services or Interim Hospice and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
