He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Garnett and Edna Rose Dickinson Garnett; his son Kevin Ray Garnett; and his siblings, Clayton, Norris, William, Clara Whitmore, Eilene Boyd, Rose Marie Foster, Brenda Harvey, Rosetta and Harriet.
He is survived by: his wife Winnifred P. Rawlins; his children, Eldon Garnett of Wichita, Steven Garnett (Deana) of Salina and Dee Garnett of Kansas City; his sister Jeri Lynn Tipton of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Garnett, Latoyia Garnett and Jayden Roberts.
