He is survived by: his father Bob Schmidt (Glendene) of Newton; his children, Nathan of Wichita, Ethan of Kansas City and Anna Bergen (Alek) of Wichita; his sister Nicole Stauffer (DJ) of Stillwater, OK; and his former wife Joella Woods Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
