She was predeceased by: her parents, Bevly Hewitt and Ada Pearl Hewitt (Heckadon); her husband Bill O'Connor; her son Dennis O'Connor; her grandson Jared O'Connor; and her siblings, Jay Hewitt, Doris Vasquez and Donna Stone.

She is survived by: her children, Maureen Tilton (Jim) of Eudora, Jo Ann O'Connor (Jessica) of Mapleton, Angela Miller of Mound City, Ed O'Connor (Mary Jane) of LaCygne and Michael O'Connor (Paula) of Adrian; and her sister Beverly Metz (Dan) of Emporia, Kansas.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
