It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne McGee (Mound City, Kansas), born in Coyle, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lamb and Vonnie Morgan Lamb; her husband Earnest McGee; her children, Ronald McGee and Marsha Daves; and her sister Glenda Ball.
She is survived by: her son Marion McGee (Theresa); her daughter-in-law Valerie "Muff" McGee; her sisters, Voneta Lewis and Marjorie Campbell of Raytown, MO; her siblings-in-law, Ada Gray and Leonard McGee (Myra) of Purdy, MO; her grandchildren, Amber Schleicher (Eric), Lucas Daves, Rebecca Rousar (Matt), Nathaniel McGee (Amanda), Melanie McKay (Matt), Kyle McGee (Rachel) and Brett McGee (Niki); and her great grandchildren, Ethan Schleicher, Grace Schleicher, Ezra Rousar, Cece Rousar, Harper McGee, Elliette McGee, Miles McKay and Carson McGee. She is also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
