We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2019, Albert B. Wurtz (Mound City, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Viola May Wurtz (Brandt); his wife Rita Louisa Johnson; and his children, Edwin Wurtz of Hollister, MO, Larry C. Wurtz and Linda Holloway. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
