He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Rupert and Ethel Rupert (Carter); his wife Donna C. Krizek; his siblings, Ivan Rupert and Gertrude Holland; and his sisters-in-law, Maggie Lindsey (Marvin), Margaret Chapman and Marie Darrow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Crum of Minneapolis and Charlene; his grandchildren, Shelly Stone (Chris), Stacy Maybin (Markel), Brandan Crum (Clarisa), Jeremy Adams (Kristi) and Wade Adams (Amanda); his stepgrandchildren, Jason Trost (Shayla) and Andrea Boeglin (Craig); his sister-in-law Miya Rupert; and his close friend Vergene McCullick. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.
