It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Patricia Parker of Merriam, Kansas, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taber and Marie Taber (Donohoe); her husband Jack Robert Parker; her son Larry Wayne Parker; her close friends, Annie Major, Kathleen Hammond and Mayor Ben Sykes; her siblings, Dorothy Carter (Glen), Bill Taber (Irene), Beverly Stinson (Joe), Bob Taber (Shirley) and Barbara Gaddis; her brother-in-law James Parker (Sam); and her nieces and nephews, Donna Cook, Kathy Dilley, Tom Carter, Billy Taber and Paul Taber.
She is survived by: her son David Parker; her grandchildren, Poppy Parker-Lambay (Sam), Holly Teetzel (Tom), Greg Marsh (Sarrah), Josh Parker (Shelby Hannah) and Emily Gray (Larry); and her brother-in-law Don Gaddis. She is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren; and four Great Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations suggested to Unleashed Pet Rescue; or Great Plains SPCA, City Union Mission or local church of choice.
