She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Douglas Springer and Audlene Springer; her husband Laurence Dean Matson; her grandmother Etta Mae Springer; her children, Audlene, Through, Neola, Eliese Holt (Paul), Shawnee (Laurie Matson-Ritter), Dean Lynes Matson (Dixie) and Kent Douglas Matson (Brenda); her great grandchildren, Britta Audlene Holt Bustamante, Matt, Pax, Amelia, Felix Bustamante, Andrew Thomas Ritter, Sarah, Kathryn, Grace, Claire Ritter, Lindsey Danielle Matson Hunter, David, Elijah, Silas, Juliana, Irene Hunter, Kari Mechelle Matson Garison, Zeke, Halie, Addison, Carlie Garison, Wesley Dietrich Matson (Alison), Ashley Dawn Matson Hughes (Gabe Hughes), Lynn Douglas Matson, German, Norbert Strassner (Hille) and Little; her brother Jeremiah Moralez; her former husband Larry; and her brothers, Jean Douglas Springer and Eldon Elton Springer. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be given to support the mission projects of the Galesburg Christian Church (Orange Swan Program) or the Hardly Used Shop of the United Methodist Women in Smith Center, KS.
