She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Boyd; and her son Michael McCarty. She is survived by: her children, Susan Larson (Chip), Nick McCarty (Marisa), Tony Boyd (Kirby) and John Boyd (Jennifer); and her siblings, Nick, Joseph Stipetich and Georgiann Miles. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
