James Haefele Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2021, at the age of 92, James Haefele of Merriam, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Haefele to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Marcia; his daughter Carolyn Karnes; and his stepson Don Laughery. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, James Haefele (Susan), Mary Heininger, LouAnn Longanecker (Curt) and Ann Smith (Doug); his stepchildren, Sondra Jordan (Randy), Cyndi Rexroad (Raymond) and Julie Laughery; and his sister Mary Dunham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 12 step great- grandchildren; and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Olive's Hope Pet Rescue in Pleasanton, KS (started by his daughter, Carolyn) and the local ASPCA.
