It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda J. Shellenberger (Medicine Lodge, Kansas), who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Orville LaCore and Pauline Elizabeth LaCore (Myers); her son James Shellenberger; her great grandchild Kayden Evans; and her siblings, Helen LaCore, Reba Taylor, Mary Houchin, Orville LaCore and George LaCore.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon Shellenberger; her daughters, Theresa Gee (Cecil) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Katie Gee (Greg) of Chico, TX and Paula Lackey (John) of Poolville, TX; her grandchildren, Lacy Evans (Joey) of Anna Gee, J. L, Hall, T. J. Lackey (Tia), Monique Lackey and Gavin Gee; her great grandchildren, Kassidy Gee, Kamden Gee and Tanner Lackey; and her sisters, Dorothy Keller (Lyle) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Linda Rickard of Medicine Lodge, KS and Betty Paasch (Larry) of Medicine Lodge, KS.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the funeral home.
