She was predeceased by: her parents, Chauncey Otto and Mary Jane Dowd (Craig); and her siblings, Kathy Dowd, Josephine Benteman, Shirley Smith, Clara Jefferies, George Dowd and Chauncey Dowd.

She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Singleton (Butch) and Hank Dowd (Wilma). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
