Linda Schmidt Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Schmidt (Whitewater, Kansas), born in Newton, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Clinton Schmidt and Kathleen Schmidt (Brown) of Whitewater; her siblings, Laura Dinkel (Steve) of Ellis, David Schmidt (Angie) of Bentley, Pamela Mitchell (Dave) of Whitewater and Kimberly Blowers (Steve) of Haysville; her nieces and nephews, Lacy Schroeder, Bryant Schmidt, Kyle Morgan (Taylor), Kylie Mitchell, Caitlin Meza (Jovany), Carisa Taskova (Simeon) and Shelby Blowers; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ra'mya, Laysia, Elle, Enzo and Athena.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brainerd Cemetery (10881-11579 SE 72nd St, Whitewater, KS 67154).

Memorial contributions in Linda's name may be directed to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the Whitewater Community Cats.
