She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick R. Whitney and Virginia L. Whitney (Anderson); and her former husband James L. Dees. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Dees (Darlene) of McPherson, Rebecca Sladky of McPherson, Brian Dees (Cindy) of Burrton and Laura Hatcher (Jerry) of Hutchinson; and her sisters, Mary Jean Whitney of Sylvan Grove and Diane Heptig (Mike) of Flush. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
