He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry Lips, Jr. and Iris Christina Lips Crawford (Olson); his brother Stan Lips; his nieces, Lori Schramm (Mark) of The Colony, TX, Jan Streeter (Marshall) of Cheyenne, WY and Amy Terrapin (Mack) of Alma, KS; his stepsister Sharon Brown (Crawford) of Prairie Village, KS; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke Wilson (Phill), Layne Miles (Alex), Nick Terrapin (Brooke), Alli Terrapin, Claire Streeter and Lauren Streeter; and also, Reid, Henry, Blaire Wison and Kate Miles.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Meadowlark Hills Foundation - In Support of Meadowlark Memory Program or the Thomas Jefferson High School - Bloomington, MN - Boys Swim and Dive Team.
