It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann John of Lyons, Kansas, born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Godfrey and Stella Irene Fortner Johnson; her husband Martin E. John; and her sister Kathleen Ewy. She is survived by: her children, Bryan John of Lyons, KS, Deborah Payne (Kenneth) of Sterling, KS and Shannon Triplett of Kansas City, MO; and her brother Art Johnson Jr. of Little River, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
