With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Robert Barker of Lyons, Kansas, born in Covina, California, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Barker and Loretta Duarte Barker; his former wife Toni Chewning; and his niece Rebecca. He is survived by: his children, Kim Miller (Rick) of Lyons, Jennifer Barker of Lyons and Bobby Barker of Lyons; his siblings, Bill Barker (Susan) of Lyons and Jeanie Berger of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Nick Miller, Luke Miller, Lauren Jones, Jesse Hursey, Ella Darling, Lyndsey Barker and Lexey Barker; and his great grandchildren, James Joseph Miller and Braylynn Jones.
Memorials may be given to the Lyons Recreation Center (for the baseball and softball program) or North Pole Fire and Rescue in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
