He is survived by: his family Melvin; his wife Mary Vieanna; his daughters, Teresa (Greg O'Neill) and Rhonda; his grandchildren, Erica (Will Vernon), Zeb O'Neill (Kaela Moore), Leslie (Kelly Scripsick), Stefani (Jared Jones) and Whitney (Braden Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Addison, Gunnar, Nick, Bo, Trey, Lance, Lorelai and Charlotte. He is also survived by his family, his friends.

Memorials may be given to the Inman EMS Fire Department in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
