He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Porter and Lila Porter (Dykstra); and his brother Jerry Porter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Porter; his children, Jim Porter (Judy), Cathy LaTourell (Dan), Sterling, Melinda Moore (Alan) and John Ray; and his siblings, Stan Porter, Little River, Richard Porter of Lenora, KS, Leroy Porter of Raymore, MO, Nancy Burroughs of Joplin, MO and Lois Lung of Salina, KS. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
