Estelle Lois Reed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2024, at the age of 89, Estelle Lois Reed of Lyons, Kansas, born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Colberg and Marguerite Colberg (Wilson); and her son Douglas Wayne Reed. She is survived by: her brother Glenn Colberg of Lyons; her daughters, Kay Kessinger of Evansville, IN and Ellen Brand (Bill) of Hopkins, MO; her daughter-in-law Debbie Reed of Denver, CO; and her grandchildren, Jason Colberg (Michelle), Kevin Colberg (Amanda), Amber Anderson (David), Emily Nakayama (Jess), Kimberly Kay (Brett), David Brand (Stephanie), Nick Reed (Lauren) and Lindsey Ricci (Chris). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; with one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Rice County Arts Council or the Lyons Public Library in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
