She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wesseler and Anna Schroeder Wesseler; her daughters, Pamela Branson and LaVonda Branson; her children-in-law, Daryle Nielsen, Conrad Odell and Cheryl Nielsen; her brother Orville Wesseler; and her granddaughter Debbie Nerich.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Branson (Carl Connor) of Prairie Village, KS, Gaila Demel (Maurice) of Ellinwood, KS and Nancy Lester (Morgan) of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arleen requested that her body be donated to the University of Kansas School of Medicine for medical student education. Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church, Lyons or Rice County Community Foundation in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
