He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Sheldon Sorensen; his parents, Linc and Mae; his sister Edith Sheldon; his half-siblings, Leonard, Dayle Greene and Betty Lawson; and his great grandchild Luke Steinle.
He is survived by: his half-sisters, Genevieve (Jenny) and Jenny Landgren; his sister Rosie Girton; his children, Gary Sorensen (Ruth) and Kay Steinle (Curtis); his grandchildren, Nathan Steinle (Kate), Eric Steinle (Carrie), John Sorensen (Dena), Sara Rosebrook (Michael) and Janna Weber (Brandon); his friends, Debra Parmenter and Leigh Geyer; and also Bessie. He is also survived by five grandchildren were born, and the two grandparents.
