He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Swisher and Lucille Swisher; his siblings, John, Bob, Delmer and Donna; and his grandson Derrick Swisher.
He is survived by: his spouse Connie J. Horchem; his sons, Edward L. Swisher of Texas and Troy G. Swisher (Laura) of Lindsborg; and his sisters, Sharon Anderson of Lindsborg and Betty Holcom of Salina. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
