It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Brown (Leon, Kansas), who passed away on May 29, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reed Brown; and her parents, Robert Gates and Mary Ellen Gates. She is survived by: her sons, Merlin Leon Splane, Jr (Reena) and Glenn W. Splane (Paulette); her brother Larry M. Gates (Renae); her grandchildren, Nate Splane (Christina), Amy Phelps (Andy) and Tawney Hager; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Stephen, Kylie and Grayson.
