It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harrison C. Westerfield of Lenexa, Kansas, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Henry and JoAnn Westerfield. He is survived by: his parents, Hunter Westerfield and Kim Westerfield; his brother Hayden; and his grandparents, Jerry and Dian Van Dalen. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Harrison's Hydration Station benefiting the KU Cancer Clinic. Any remaining funds will be donated to the Sarcoma Foundation.

“I’ve never met a nicer young man than Harrison. He had so many wonderful gifts. He was my son Brandon’s best and truest friend. He always had a smile on his face and I never saw him complain. We were lucky to have had him in our lives. Thank you Kim and Hunter for always including Brandon. I will never forget his smile and optimism. We will be praying for God to comfort you at this time.
