She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Shackelford and Josephine Shackelford (Ezzell); her brothers, Rondald Shackelford, Jeff Shackelford and Harold Paul "Butch" Shackelford; her grandson Evan Norwood; and her son-in-law Jim Norwood.

She is survived by: her husband Larry James Foster; her children, Jamie Foster (Michelle) of South Bend and Lori Foster Norwood (Steve Butler) of Leavenworth; her grandchildren, Jessica Frederick (Mike), Traci Kanczuzewski (Adam), Adam Foster (Lynne) and Thomas Foster (Jen); her great grandchildren, Layla, Emma Frederick, Catalina Foster, Jack Dinges, Casey Foster and Mason Kanczuzewski; her brother Robert Shackelford (Gracie); and her friend Patty Shackelford.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart-St. Casimir Parish or St. Luke's Hospice.
