He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Hixson and Glenna Hixson (Griffin); and his brother Ralph. He is survived by: his wife LuAnn; his grandson Luke (Peepaw) of Lansing, Kansas; and his sister Elizabeth (Betsy) of Arizona.
