It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Lamm Logan and Grace Ethel Logan (Spaethe); her husband James Darrell Parks; her siblings, Betty Smith and Addison "Bud" Logan; and her close friend George Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Harper (Bob) of Olathe, Jimmy "Bo" Parks of Leavenworth and Darrell W. Parks; her daughter-in-law Michelle Parks; her grandchildren, Bobbie Harper of Overland Park, Chris Harper of Leavenworth, Andrew Parks (Brandi) of Leavenworth, Lindsey Parks (Bobby) of Leavenworth, Brandy Flack (Wyatt) of Leavenworth and Grace Parks of Leawood, Kansas; her great grandchildren, Anthony Malloy (Jasmin), Nathan Malloy, Addison Harper, Maddie Parks, Emma Parks, Abby Parks, Gracelyn Parks, Tanner Chmidling, Reece Tavis, Brice Tavis, Deegan Flack and Maverick Flack; her great great grandchildren, James Malloy and Ava Malloy; and her brother Jerry Logan (Ruth). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
