He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary "Izzy" Filbert and Clarence "Bud" Filbert; his brothers, Clancy Filbert (Sharie) and Jimmy Filbert; and his brother-in-law Jim Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Venita Viola Goodman of Lansing; his daughters, Secret Goodman (Elijah Nichols), Charlsey Filbert (Jake Cosgrove) and Olive Brown (Armor); his grandchildren, Kaden, Isabel, Adara, Bennett, Sally, Enzie, Armor, June and Royce; and his siblings, Harriet Smith, Billy (Sabra Filbert), Danny Filbert and Judy (Kevin Cammack). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
