He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bohannon and Mildred Bohannon (Cleek); and his brother Howard "Bo" Bohannon. He is survived by: his wife Lena DuBois; his son Scott Bohannon; his siblings, Darlene Means (Jerry), Linda Miers (Mike), Judy Herzog (Mike) and Bill Bohannon of Leavenworth; his grandchildren, Makenzie Rodas (Axel) of Leavenworth, Ashlynn Bohannon of Vermont and Nicklas Bohannon of Leavenworth; and his great grandchild Azreal.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Leavenworth County Humane Society.
