She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, W. M. Leroy (Roy) and Dorothy Rose Salmans Mead; her daughter Carla Battin (Austin); and her brother Leon Mead. She was also cherished by two step- grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.
