He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert C. Burton and Martha A. Burton (Dees); and his siblings, Elva Belvins, Katherine Slape-Love, Betty Talley, Jane Firuccia, Lytle Burton, Kenneth Burton, Zack Burton and Ross Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Burton (Vermillion); his sister Mary Martin; and his children, Cynthia (Robert) of Leavenworth, KS, Richard (Margaret) of Lebanon, OH, Elizabeth of Lancaster, KS and Robin (Jaime) of South Riding, VA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members.
Memorials may be given to The Alzheimer's Association and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
