He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Vernon Helm and Mary Alice Helm; and his significant other Mary Haines. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Young; his nephew Kent Young (Kammra); his niece Jacquie Young Collins (Doug); his friend Tony Plunkett (Gayle); and his wife Charlene Palmer. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
