He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rose McNare Saxton; his sons, William and Steven; and his siblings, Carl Saxton and Doris Smith.
He is survived by: his son Charles Saxton (Christine). He is also survived by four grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
