He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Carl" Hanks and Frances Leona Hanks (Shepard); and his siblings, Les Hanks and Brenda Kimball. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hunter; his children, Lisa Page (John), Deona Anderson (Brian) and David Hanks (Heather); and his siblings, Byron Hanks, Donna Webb and Barbara Hensley. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
