He is survived by: his children, Michael Simon of Mayetta, Kansas, Leotta and Dana; and his siblings, Christine Shopteese of Horton, Michelle Shopteese of Michigan and John Shopteese of Norman. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and grandchildren.
