He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Gruber and Katie Gruber (Katherine Krause); his brother John Gruber; and his nephew Chris Gruber. He is survived by: his brother Rano Gruber of Hope; his sister-in-law Vicki Gruber of Hope; his nieces and nephews, Kelli Almes (Ryan) of Manhattan and Kai Gruber of Manhattan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kendon, Della Almes, Ethan, Aiden and Abigail Gruber.
