She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Zimmerman and Elsie Ann Zimmerman (Ratzlaff); her children, Bradley Nuss (Sheila) of Ness City, Stan Nuss of Durham, Mark Nuss (Kathy) of Salina, Gary Nuss (Merilyn) of Wichita, Brian Nuss of Durham and Peni Ens (Stan) of Hillsboro; her husband Loren Nuss (Fuzzy); and her son Stanley Nuss. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
