She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Jantzen; her son-in-law Lars Meyerson; and her brother Lowell Goering. She is survived by: her friend Delila Deckert; her daughter Lisa Donahue (Tim) of Lincolnville; her grandchildren, Ashley Olmstead (Robert) of Goddard and Andrew Donahue (Krista); her great grandchild Nessa Donahue of Lincolnville; her daughter Kristine Meyerson; her grandchildren, Madison Elaine and Jacob Meyerson of Kemah Texas; her brother Verne Goering (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Judy Goering, Helen Ruth Unruh and Carl Jantzen (Anne). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Elaine became a breast cancer survivor in 1989 and from that experience she served for 10 years on the Relay for Life Committee in Marion County through the American Cancer Society.
