She was predeceased by: her parents, Audry Emmett and Nina Alice Elliott (Bethel); her husband Monte M. Mort; and her daughter Paula Dee. She is survived by: her children, Troy Mort (Elizabeth) of Hill City, Tia Nichols (Kelly) of Redding and Tana (Kenny Bonner) of Redding, California; and her siblings, Sharon Jones (Sherman) of Bogue and Shelby Elliott (Connie) of Spring Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
