We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2020, at the age of 90, Nelda Jeanne Shields (Hill City, Kansas), born in Lincoln, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry "Dusty" and Esther Sheets (Loy); her husband Junior; her siblings, Robert Sheets, Wanda Huston and Helen Jensen; her son-in-law Don Scott; her grandson Nathan Elliott; and her great grandchild Andrew Rule.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Shields of Hill City, Kay Elliott (Bill) of Woodland Park, Carmen Shields of Hill City, Rod Shields of Salina, Melanie Scott of Hill City, Lori Newell (Stan) of Monticello, Mike Shields (Donna) of Kansas City and David Shields (Sara) of Kansas City, Missouri. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the First United Presbyterian Church of Hill City.
