He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver and Anna Elizabeth McVey (Raymond); his wife Mary Anne; his son Mike McVey; and his sisters, Mary Doris and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Mick, Mary Anne, Mexico and Spain; his sister Pat McVey; his daughter Betty Humphrey of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Whitney Spitler (Clint) of Lindsborg, Javil Hansen (Lindsey) of Salina, Kiaya Flaugh (Jeremiah) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Chanlor Ray (Brian) of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
