He was predeceased by: his sister Melvia Howard; and his brother-in-law Ivan Munson. He is survived by: his wife Bettie; his children, Larry (Rita) of Oakley, Gary (Deb) of Grand Island, Judy Durham (Richard) of Palisade and Janet Schmidtberger (Raphael) of Ellis; his stepchildren, Jeff Carter (Kim) of Moore, Russell Carter (Lavonda) of Lincoln, Melinda Nickelson (Mike) of Moore and Teresa Stinemetz (Eric) of Pensacola; and his brother Don Billips (Mary) of Hill City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; 18 great-grand children and 13 step great grandchildren.
