It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Letha Horton (Goodland, Kansas), born in Tulia, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wadlington and Josephine Wadlington (Payne); her former husband Jay C. Hicks; her husband Otto Horton; her son Larry Jay Hicks; her grandson Jon Michael Timken; and her siblings, Albert, Arch, Virgil, Arlie Wadlington, Verma Johnston, Myrtle Lois Wadlington and Willie Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cherry Bell (Ron) of Colby and Jill Timken (Robert) of St. Louis; and her daughter-in-law Roslyn Hicks-Foster of Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
