She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Ward and Hazel Ellen Nolind Ward; her spouse Richard Ray Babst of Winona; her brother Charles H. "Bud" Ward; her granddaughter Laramie Elaine Farris; and her siblings-in-law, James Taylor and Patsy Kahle.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Cheryl Detamore) of Winona and Nancy Partida (Joseph) of Goodland; her sister Charlene Taylor of Winona; her grandchildren, Jody Crouch (Darren) of Leoti, Matt Babst (Karah) of Chappell, Nebraska and Daniel Bagnell of Galata, Montana; her great grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Kaleb Babst of Colby, Jadee Ray Crouch of Leoti, Colton, Jadyn and Jordyn of Chappell, NE.; and her siblings-in-law, Naomi Ward of Colby and Clarence Kahle of Winona. She is also survived by four nieces, three nephews, and a host of former students and friends.
