She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin J. Rhoads and Margaret Rhoads (Hopper); and her siblings, Juanita Shahan, Opal Wahrenbrock and Earl Rhoads.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Schwendener; her daughters, Janice Nemechek of Goodland and Donna Hall of Goodland; her sister-in-law Verda Simms of Easton, PA; her grandchildren, Curtis Nemechek (Julie) of Holcomb, KS, Rhonda McIntosh (Dean) of Amarillo, TX and Janet Downie (Dustin) of Manhattan, KS.; and her great grandchildren, Dane McIntosh (Miriam), Dayton McIntosh, Aubrey Downie, Nash Downie, Christopher Nemechek and Courtney Nemechek. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
