He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley B. Kernal and Anni F. Schneider Kernal; his siblings, Ron, Sonja and Elke; and his nephew Lucas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Juergen, Jody Kernal of Goodland, Cindy Kernal of Moline, IL, Harley Kernal (Quinn) of Anaheim, CA and Pat Kernal of Colby, KS.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
